Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American singer and actress is very famous. When she was a kid she was subjected to racial taunts by American citizens of all races. Her confidence began to grow in the ninth grade when she appeared in an audition. She was praised for her performance. It not only increased her confidence but her dreams changed. The 22-year-old earned a degree from the Julliard School in New York. At the age of 23 she started her professional career, making her first appearance on Broadway in Paul Simon's The Capeman and in films with You've Got Mail. Her most memorable break came from her performance as The Lady of The Lake, in the original Broadway version of Spamalot. She was awarded the Tony Award and received great appreciation for her role. The following year, she appeared as Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy on ABC the show, she received more fame. Apart from being a popular singer, she also released her own solo album and an extended piece. She's also an activist who fights in the fight for LGBT rights.
