The birth of Kellie Dawn Pickler on June 28 1986 Pickler was a difficult childhood. In order to leave an abusive relationship, her mother left when she was just 2 years older. Pickler returned to the mother she had left in 1995 when she assumed custody. However, it wasn't as was planned. Pickler's grandparents raised her from the age of 12 to the age of adulthood. Pickler was unable to parent her children in their absence. She confessed that, in the absence of both parents, Pickler was too busy to take classes.
